Saddle Trial Policy
Trial for shipped saddles
If you are interested in trialing a saddle listed on our website and would need it shipped to you, please reach out to us and we will be happy to make this arrangement.
In accordance with our policy, you will be charged the full amount of the saddle, plus $75 for shipping and insurance. The 7-day trial period begins on the day the saddle is delivered.
If you decide to return the saddle, you must email saddles@happyhorsetack.com to notify us that the saddle will be returned. This email must be sent before or upon completion of the 7-day trial period. We will then provide you with a return shipping label.
On the eighth day, the saddle becomes the property of the customer and no returns will be accepted for any reason.
Once the saddle is received and confirmed to be in the same condition in which it left our store, we will process your refund, minus:
- $75 return shipping fee
- $50 restocking fee
Trial for in-store pickup
Even if you do not schedule saddle services, we allow saddles to go out for test rides. A $50 test ride fee per saddle applies.
The trial period for in-store pickup is three (3) days. If the saddle is not returned by the end of the third day, we will assume you are satisfied and your card will be charged in full for the saddle.
Only one saddle may be taken out on trial at a time.
